IER's ESG Capacity-Building Training to support Rwanda's Vision 2050 goals for sustainable and resilient developemnt

The Institute of Engineering Rwanda (IER) is bringing together engineering professionals for an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) capacity-building training. As ESG becomes increasingly important for investment, competitiveness, risk management and long-term resilience, the training is equipping participants with the knowledge and practical skills to understand ESG risks and opportunities and apply them in engineering and business decisions. Through practical exercises and case studies, participants will explore the Environmental, Social and Governance pillars, stakeholder expectations, enterprise risk and the perspectives of companies and investors. The goal is to strengthen professional capacity and support more sustainable, responsible and resilient infrastructure development in Rwanda.

Extra Ordinary General Assembly - 04-30-2026

The extra Ordinary General Assembly was convened on 30th April 2026 with the main purpose of electing the new Governing Council and also aoth ceremony for the New Professional Engineers.

World Engineering Week, 2026 Celebration

In celebration of World Engineering Day 2026, IER proudly conducted a series of impactful activities, including a two-day high-level training workshop for CEOs, Directors of Consulting Firms, and Senior Engineers (3–4 March), followed by an awards ceremony honoring outstanding engineering graduates from the University of Rwanda (5 March 2026).
